Bio
Taran is a first year PhD student in political science. Their research interests, broadly construed, center upon the impacts of criminalization in the U.S. on democracy and the social movements advancing democratic and life-affirming alternatives to the carceral state. Prior to coming to New Haven, they received undergraduate degrees from Penn State.
