Bio

I study the political economy of democratization and democratic erosion, with a particular focus on Western Europe and the United States. Other interests include welfare state development and comparative social policy. I hold a BA in political science from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), and an MPhil in European Politics and Society from Brasenose College, Oxford.
