Bio:

Carolina is a second-year graduate student in political science and was a 2022-2023 Graduate Fellow at the Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration. She studies environmental politics and social movements with a focus on Brazil and the U.S. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Carolina taught English through the Fulbright U.S. Student program in Portugal and worked in the nonprofit sector in the Washington, DC area. She holds an MA from the University of Chicago’s Committee on International Relations and undergraduate degrees from Arizona State University.
