Bio

Aleksandra Vaisberg is a first-year PhD student specializing in comparative politics. Her research interests include authoritarian regimes and post-Soviet Eurasia. Most recently, she has been part of the “Russia’s Wartime Élite” project investigating career trajectories of deputy heads of Russian federal executive bodies. Before joining Yale, she was also a project intern at Transparency International – Russia and an online teaching fellow at the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict.
