Assistant Professor Didac Queralt and Political Science lecturer Maria Jose Hierro received an award for the best paper on territorial politics published in an academic journal in 2021 granted by Institute of Self-Government Studies in Barcelona (Spain). The award committee highlighted the originality of the argument and methodological approach.
“The Divide over Secession: Preferences for Secession in an Advanced Open Economy” was published in the American Journal of Political Science in April of 2021.
The award ceremony was held on Jan 17, 2022 in Barcelona.
