Bio
Saumyaa Gupta is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science specializing in Comparative Politics and Political Economy. Her research focuses broadly on opposition parties in autocracies and welfare politics. Before coming to Yale, Saumyaa earned a BA in Political Science and Psychology from Beloit College, Wisconsin.
