Bio:
Nuno P. Monteiro was Associate Professor of Political Science at Yale University between 2009 and 2021. He was the author of Theory of Unipolar Politics and Nuclear Politics: The Strategic Causes of Proliferation (with Alexandre Debs), published by Cambridge University Press in 2014 and 2017, respectively. His research and commentary have appeared in numerous outlets including the Annual Review of Political Science, Critical Review, The Guardian, Foreign Affairs, International Organization, International Security, International Theory, The National Interest, Perspectives on Politics, Project Syndicate, and The Washington Quarterly. He was originally from Portugal and was educated at the University of Chicago (Ph.D., 2009).
