The Johnson Center for the Study of American Diplomacy at the Jackson School of Global Affairs presents

James Litinsky, founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of MP Materials Corp. and founder, chief executive officer, and chief investment officer of JHL Capital Group LLC: 

” Rare Earth Minerals and U.S.-China Supply Chain Geopolitics.” 

Prior to founding JHL in 2006, Litinsky was a member of the Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund at Fortress Investment Group LLC, a global investment management firm. Prior to Fortress, he was a director of Finance at Omnicom Group, Inc., and worked as a merchant banker at Allen & Company. Litinsky received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University, cum laude, and a J.D. and M.B.A. from the Northwestern University School of Law and the Kellogg School of Management.
