The Yale Review Lunch Talk presents Alexander Chee, bestselling novelist, essayist, editor, and professor of English and creative writing, Dartmouth College. 

Alexander will discuss what it takes to build a writer’s life in all its dimensions today.  What labor—both intellectual and practical—is required to write across genres? What do alternative forms of publishing (such as Substack) offer that can’t be found elsewhere? How does being a teacher and an editor inform one’s writing life?
