The Philosophy Department presents a Conversation with philosopher, Charles Taylor.

Charles M. Taylor, CC GOQ FRSC FBA, Professor Emeritus, McGill University, Renown philosopher and winner of the Kyoto Prize, the Templeton Prize, the Berggruen Prize for Philosophy, and the John W. Kluge Prize. He is known for his books Sources of the Self: The Making of Modern Identity, and A Secular Age.

He will be discussing his new book Cosmic Connections: Poetry in the Age of Disenchantment (Harvard University Press), reviewed in The New Yorker (https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2024/06/24/cosmic-connections-charles…) with:
