Fmr. Navy Secretary John Lehman:  “U.S. Presidents:  Politicization in Their Cabinets”

Former United States Secretary of the Navy John Lehman will speak to a group of Yale students this Wednesday, March 9, at 7:00pm over Zoom about his experience leading the Navy, the politicization of the military, and its implications for American democracy. Some topics covered will include Lehman’s experience serving in the Reagan administration, Trump’s pardon of Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, and his career in finance and its potential as a strategic industry.

This will be the first in a series of conversations (future ones in-person) with Lehman, who now serves as chairman of the private equity investment firm J. F. Lehman and Company.

*You must attend this first meeting to be eligible for future in-person sessions.
