Tariq Thachil’s book, Elite Parties, Poor Voters (Cambridge, 2014) has received its second American Political Science Association award, the 2015 Leon Epstein Award for the best book on political organizations and parties.
The Leon Epstein Outstanding Book Award recognizes a book published in the last two calendar years that made an outstanding contribution to research and scholarship on political organizations and parties.
Professor Thachil’s book was also awarded APSA’s Gregory Luebbert prize for the best book in comparative politics this year.
