Professor Elizabeth Nugent is interviewed on the Yale MacMillan Report about her new book, After Repression: Identity and Polarization in Democratic Transitions.

Professor Nugent is an assistant professor of political science at Yale University. Her research explores the political psychology of religion and repression in the Middle East. She uses a variety of survey, voting, archival, and interview evidence in my work, and incorporate a mixture of methodologies to analyze this data.
