Political Science Department welcomes new faculty member Margaret Peters

The Department of Political Science at Yale University would like to welcome Margaret Peters as a new member of our faculty.

Margaret comes to Yale from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she was an Assistant professor and Thrice Family Scholar.  She earned her Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2011.  Her dissertation on the relationship between trade and capital policy and immigration policy won the American Political Science Association’s Helen Dwight Reid award for the best dissertation on international relations, law and politics. 

Margaret Peters comes to Yale University as an Assistant Professor of Political Science.  Her research focuses broadly on international political economy with a special focus on the politics of migration.  She teaches classes on international political economy and migration.
