The Department of Political Science at Yale University is pleased to announce that the Joint Board of Permanent Officers at Yale voted to approve the following promotions of two of our faculty members.
Professor Susan Hyde is promoted to Full Professor of Political Science.
Professor Hyde’s research examines how international actors attempt to change politics or policies within sovereign states, particularly in the developing world. At Yale, she is a resident fellow at the Institute for Social and Policy Studies (ISPS), and is a faculty affiliate of the MacMillan Center and the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs.
Professor Ana De La O is promoted to Associate Professor of Political Science.
Professor De La O is affiliated with the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies, the Institution of Social and Policy Studies, and the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. Her research relates to the political economy of poverty alleviation, clientelism and the provision of public goods.
