Assistant Professor Didac Queralt has been awarded the APSA Political Economy section 2023 Riker Best Book Award for his book Pawned States: State Building in the Era of International Finance.
The purpose of the Political Economy section is to promote teaching and research in the areas of representation and electoral systems, and to encourage communication among persons interested in these fields within the Association and with related disciplines.
The William H. Riker Book Award is named for William H. Riker, and is given for the best book in political economy.
