Remembering Gaddis Smith. 

Gaddis Smith was an historian at Yale University who taught generations of students about the intricacies of U.S. foreign policy.  He helped Yale university to modernize in the 1970’s and 80’s by brokering agreements concerning those changes with alumni who were in opposition.  He died on Friday,  April 21, 2023 at his home in New Haven, Conn. He was 89. 

There will be President’s House staff at the door to give access to people who do not have swipes, beginning at 1:00p.m.
