Dr. Guy Shalev (PhD) is PHRI’s Executive Director and a research fellow at the Minerva Center for the Rule of Law Under Extreme Conditions at Haifa University.
He is a medical and political anthropologist specializing in the intersection of medical professionalism, national politics, and bioethics in Israel/Palestine.
Dr. Lina Qassem-Hassan is Chairperson of PHRI’s Board of Directors and a Family Medicine specialist with Clalit Health Services in Haifa & Western Galilee District. She volunteers with PHRI’s West Bank Mobile Clinic, medical missions to Gaza, and with their Prisoners and Detainees department accompanying Palestinian hunger strikers. She was part of PHR’s emergency response clinic for survivors of the October 7th massacre.
