The Yale Department of Spanish and Portuguese and Council on Latin American and Iberian Studies present a Roundtable Discussion:

“Protests in Latin America.”

A roundtable with leading journalists to discuss cases of protests in Peru, Chile, and Ecuador, as well as the links and parallels between each country. The roundtable discussion will be in Spanish with English translation.

Guest Panelists include Boris Muñoz: Opinion Editor, New York Times in Spanish; Fellow at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University,  Jacqueline Fowks: Correspondent, El Pais, Peru, Daniel Matamala: Anchor, CNN and Chilevisión, Chile, and María Sol Borja: Political Editor of GK, Ecuador.

The roundtable discussion will be in Spanish with English translation.
