At home: Artists in Conversation with Katy Moran.
Katy Moran in conversation with Carmen Juliá, curator, Spike Island Art Centre, Bristol. Moran is a contemporary artist known for her powerful and evocative abstract paintings that explore color, compoisition, and gesture. Her ideas emerge from the process of painting: she often shifts or rotates the canvas, reworks textures, and reconsiders the shapes and figures that appear, looking from different angles until every part works.
