Don Granger ’85, President of Feature Film Production at Skydance, Tanya Perara ’93, Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer, Film and TV Music, at NBCUniversal and Brian Weinstein ’96, President and COO of Bad Robot:  

“Careers, Life, and Yale Thursday Show: A Conversation with Entertainment Industry Leaders.” 

They will discuss their inspiring and distinguished careers, give insight into the business/strategy side of entertainment, and share their expert approaches to leadership. Don’t miss the opportunity to get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the world of film, television, and music.

Don Granger ’85

Don Granger is the President of Feature Film Production at Skydance, where he oversees the development and production of films such as “Top Gun: Maverick,” “The Adam Project,” and “Terminator: Dark Fate.” Prior to Skydance, Don was the President of Motion Picture Production at United Artists, a senior executive at C/W Productions, and Executive Vice President of Motion Picture Production at Paramount Pictures. Don is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild, and is a graduate of Yale University.

Tanya Perara ’93

Tanya Perara is the Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer, Film and TV Music, at NBCUniversal. In this role, Tanya oversees the strategy and legal affairs of NBCUniversal’s film and television music catalog. Prior to NBCUniversal, Taya was the VP of Business & Legal Affairs at Telemundo, and the Senior Vice President at Interscope Geffen A&M Records. Tanya is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School.

Brian Weinstein ’96

Brian Weinstein is the President and COO of Bad Robot. Bad Robot has produced television series such as “Lost,” “Fringe,” and “Westworld,” and films such as “Cloverfield,” “Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and “Star Trek: Beyond.” Previously, Brian was the Head of Global Client Strategy at Creative Artists Agency, where he focused on entertainment and sports ventures, and a corporate associate at law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher, & Flom. Brian is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia Law School.
