Since 2014, the Humanities Program, the Whitney Humanities Center, and the Yale Alumni Association have partnered in an annual event called Humanities in Action (HIA). A select group of alumni is invited back to Yale to help current students understand careers launched with the benefit of a humanities-based education. The HIA workshop promotes deeper awareness of the value of the humanities as a rich foundation both for a satisfying life and for navigating any number of exciting careers.
