“Loper and Chevron in the Court: The Fate of Deference to Administrative and Scientific Expertise.”

Later this month, the Supreme Court will hear a major challenge to the administrative state and deference to scientific expertise: The Loper Bright and Relentless cases challenge the longstanding precedent of judicial deference to agency interpretations of statutes, established in Chevron U.S.A. v. Natural Resources Defense Council.

Join leading scholars, scientists and Supreme Court practitioners for a panel discussion on the potential implications of the case for scientific expertise, environmental law and the regulatory apparatus of government.
