“Healthwashing” the Ultra-Wealthy: Money and Power in Health and Politics.”

Please join the Solomon Center for an engaging panel discussion on the consequences of ultra-wealthy influence over health systems. While there is increasing societal concern over some ways the ultra-wealthy spend their money and gain influence, spending on healthcare, often in the form of charity, is widely praised. In this panel, experts who have written on ultra-wealthy spending in health in both media and academic outlets will share their insights into how the ultra-wealthy’s exertion of control over health systems can have covert but significant impacts on both politics and wellbeing.
