The Sir Thomas Moore Lecture Series presents:
James Hatch, Navy Seal senior chief and dog handler who led a platoon into a fierce battle to try to rescue Bowe Bergdahl from the Taliban, will speak on his story and will highlight the mental health aspects of his ongoing road to recovery.
James was shot and badly wounded on that mission and has gone through a multitude of operations and therapies over the years. His long road to come to terms with his PTSD has led him to Yale University, where he is now a first year student.
You can read more about Jimmy Hatch and his experiences on Stars and Stripes.
