Olivia Crough is a PhD Candidate in the department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies at Harvard, where she studies 20th century art, visual culture, and media, with an emphasis on the interwar avant gardes and (transnational) socialist modernism in the Soviet Union, Europe, and Americas.
Olivia’s work has been supported by the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES), and a Frederick Sheldon Traveling Fellowship. She has recently contributed to publications by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Beirut Art Center (BAC), Musée d’arts de Nantes, and the Busch-Reisinger Museum/Harvard Art Museums.
