“Ethical Considerations for HIV/AIDS Research in Humanitarian Settings”
The aim of this virtual workshop is to provide an opportunity for early-career researchers, including post-doctoral students and fellows, with interest in conducting HIV/AIDS-related research in humanitarian settings to:
- Learn from expert faculty about ethics of HIV/AIDS-related research in humanitarian context and among populations affected by humanitarian crises
- Review case scenarios to explore and discuss ethical issues
- Present and discuss current projects or proposed research ideas and receive constructive feedback.
- Connect with early-career research colleagues interested in similar topics and senior faculty members.
Priority will be given to applicants affiliated with AIDS Research Centers (ARC); however, applications are also welcome from early-career researchers and graduate students not affiliated with the centers.
