The European Studies Council and Russian Studies Program present a screening: 

“No Path Through Fire- Red Century: The Russian Revolution on Film Series Part II”  (directed by Gleb Panfilov, 1968, 89 min.).

Juxtaposing fine arts with bleak realism, director Gleb Panfilov’s first feature film follows Tanya, an aspiring artist and orderly serving on a Red Army medical train, as she searches for her own place in the Revolution.
