ISPS/CSAP SPECIAL POST-ELECTION EVENT

The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election has been described as “critical” and “historic.” How should we understand the events that have unfolded this year? And, what does it all mean for 2021 and beyond? Join us for a panel discussion with Yale faculty experts on the election. Panelists will offer historical and comparative perspectives on the election and its implications for politics, society, and public policy. This is a non-partisan event.

PANELISTS:

• Jacob Hacker, Stanley B. Resor Professor of Political Science
• Christina Kinane, Assistant Professor of Political Science
• Isabela Mares, Professor of Political Science
• David Mayhew, Sterling Professor of Political Science Emeritus
• Saad Omer, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Yale Institute for Global Health

The panel will be moderated by Alan Gerber, the Charles C. & Dorathea S. Dilley Professor of Political Science, Director of ISPS, and Dean of the FAS Social Science Division.

This event is being sponsored by the Institution for Social and Policy Studies (ISPS) and the Center for the Study of American Politics (CSAP) at Yale University.
