“The State of Statelessness in the Middle East.”

This panel will address the evolving legal and protection challenges facing stateless individuals in the Middle East, where gender-discriminatory legal regimes and displacement from armed conflicts have left many individuals, particularly women and children, without access to education, healthcare, work, and travel due to their lack of national identity documentation.
