The Shulman Lecture Series in Science and the Humanities presents:
Peter Godfrey-Smith Professor of the History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Sydney and author of Theory and Reality: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Science (2003), Darwinian Populations and Natural Selection (2009), which won the 2010 Lakatos Award. His most recent book is Other Minds: The Octopus, the Sea, and the Deep Origins of Consciousness (2016): “Paths to the Evolution of Consciousness.”
