The Office of Public Affairs and Communications presents: 

Dariusz Stola, Historian and professor at the Institute of Political Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences:  “The Place of Jews in Polish Memory: The Polin Museum of History of Polish Jews and Its Reception Today.”

Dariusz Stola is the Director of the Polin Museum in Warsaw. He specializes in the history of Polish-Jewish relations, history of People’s Republic of Poland, and history of international migrations in the twentieth century. He has published over a hundred scholarly essays and ten books for which he received numerous awards.

In addition to discussing the establishment of the Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Professor Stola will address current cultural debates, and political developments in Poland related to the museum and the place of Jews in Polish memory.
