Eduardo Lichuge, Visiting Professor, Yale University:

“Timbila and the Politics of Memory: Re-reading Colonial and Post-independence Archives in Mozambique.”

Eduardo Lichuge is an ethnomusicologist whose research examines colonial musical archives, popular music and social memory in Mozambique. He is teaching a seminar on Music and Politics in southeast Africa: Comparative perspectives in Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya.
