Event description:

Every year, hundreds of thousand of U.S. military personnel return to civilian life with skills directly applicable in post-disaster environments. Former US Navy Pilot Ken Harbaugh (YLS ’08) has spent the past decade building organizations that challenge veterans to continue serving their communities and their country after leaving the military. He is the current President of Team Rubicon Global, a disaster relief organization that leverages the skills and experiences of veterans to rapidly deploy emergency response teams.

Ken Harbaugh served as an Electronic Warfare Mission Commander and co-founded The Mission Continues, a non-profit that empowers veterans to serve in their communities. Ken’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, the Yale Journal of International Law, The Atlantic, Proceedings, and on NPR. He is the author of the memoir, Here Be Dragons, and currently serves as President of Team Rubicon Global.
