The Yale Association for African Peace and Development would like to extend an invitation to you for our 5th annual African Development Conference that will take place on April 14th and April 15th, 2017 here on campus. This year’s conference is themed Ubuntu​: ​Collaboration for African Development, and will feature some of Africa’s most influential leaders. The distinguished speakers and panelists include Donald Kaberuka, former president of the African Development Bank; Ibukun Awosika, CEO of the CHAIR Foundation; Obiageli Ezekwesili, co-founder of Transparency International and pioneer of the #bringbackourgirls campaign; Hlomela Bucwa, South Africa’s youngest member of government; and Zethu Matebeni, one of the pioneer activists for sexuality and gender diversity in Africa. There will also be an African Night Market and a Career Fair including McKinsey and BCG, as well an incredible opportunity to interview for a job/internship at the World Bank and more!
