Program on Refugees, Forced Displacement and Humanitarian Responses Seminar Series presents Kaveh Khoshnood, Associate Professor of Public Health, “HIV/AIDS Prevention Research in Lebanon.”

Professor Khoshnood will present a recent study that produced the first scientific estimate of the size of the populations of people who inject drugs and men who have sex with men in greater Beirut area as well as data on behaviors that put members of these two groups at risk of HIV infection and discuss ethical challenges associated with a proposed new study of substance use and HIV risk among displaced populations in Lebanon.
