Exhibit focuses on the art of Gar Waterman who uses a “bricolage technique” to construct metal sculptures of beetles out of spare parts. The exhibition is curated by Leonard Munstermann. It will also feature a diverse collection of Gar’s muses: real beetle specimens from the Peabody’s collections.
The Yale Peabody Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. The museum is closed May 29 and July 4.
