Event description: 

n conversation with novelist Min Jin Lee (YC ‘90), Erna Brodber, Ali Cobby Eckermann, Maya Jasanoff, and Ashleigh Young explore the various ways that writers discover their ancestors and bring them to life in their writing.

Min Jin Lee’s Pachinko (2017) is a national bestseller, a New York Times Editors’ Choice and an Indie Next Great Reads. Lee’s debut novel Free Food for Millionaires was also a national bestseller and a New York Times Editors’ Choice, as well as one of the top 10 novels of the year for The Times (London), NPR’s Fresh Air, and the USA Today.
